Some kids want a party straight off our list of 34 themes. Others have a very specific vision: a race car party built around their own face, a color palette Mom has been saving for months, a theme nobody carries. We love both.

This page shows how custom theme parties work at Ready Set FUN in Sandy Springs, followed by real parties we’ve brought to life. We add a new one every time a family dreams up something worth sharing.

How a custom theme party works

1. Book your party. Booking locks in your day and time, so the planning can start.
2. Get your Party Planning Guide. Your Party Planner shares our Party Planning Guide, a shared Canva doc with a page where you can drop your inspiration before your planning session. The guide also shows the solid-colored party components we keep in stock to support custom parties: plates, napkins, tablecloths, string banners and centerpieces. Want to go bigger? Add custom balloon decor in your choice of 30+ colors.
3. Plan it together. In your planning session, we map out what we supply, what you’d like to bring, and a plan that’s unique to your vision.
4. Add your own touches. You’re welcome to purchase other party pieces to complement your theme. Many families use an online designer like Festi for personalized signs, placemats, hats and favor boxes.
5. Drop everything off the week before. We set it all up, ready 15 minutes before guests arrive.
6. You just show up. And have all the FUN.

What you can bring, and what we handle

Bring it, or let us supply it. Plates, napkins, tablecloths, string banners and centerpieces can come from our in-stock solid colors, from you, or a mix of both. It really comes down to how custom you want to go and how much you’d like to spend beyond what’s included. You’re always welcome to bring your own cake or desserts.

We always handle: setup, cleanup, and anything you add on through us, like custom balloon decor, catering, face painting, a dessert cart or character visits.

Outside vendors: for Classic, Experience and Grand Celebration parties, outside vendors don’t come on site to set up, cater or perform. Ordering decor from a designer and dropping it off is completely fine; that’s you bringing your pieces, not a vendor. If you want your own caterer, decorator or entertainer at the party, that’s what our Private Celebration (full facility buyout) is for, with management approval.

A few things aren’t allowed in any party room: glitter, confetti, piñatas and outside inflated balloons. Your Party Planner will walk you through everything in your planning session.What’s included with every party

What’s included with every party

Custom or not, every party includes a Party Planner for planning, a Party Attendant on the day, 2 hours of playtime, a party room decorated in your theme, one cheese pizza for every 10 kids and a juice box per child, plus full setup and cleanup. Parties start at $395 on weekdays for up to 10 kids.

Custom party case studies

Asher’s “Two Fast” race car party (October 2026)

The vision: A race car party for Asher’s second birthday, built around the line “Two Fast,” with Asher himself as the race car driver on everything.

What Mom brought: Personalized placemats, party hats, a string banner, cupcake toppers and a welcome sign, all designed with Festi (@lets.festi) and featuring Asher in his racing suit.

What we handled: Balloon columns in race car red, white, yellow and blue, the dessert table styling, a custom “Two Fast” sign on the room TV, and the full setup. Mom dropped her pieces off the week before, and the room was ready before the first guest walked in.

Ideas to steal:

• Pick one hero piece that carries the theme, like a TV or welcome sign, and let everything else support it.
• Put the birthday kid’s name on the small things guests touch: placemats, hats, favor boxes.
• Choose three or four balloon colors pulled straight from your theme, then repeat them everywhere.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Yes, or we can supply it from our in-stock solid colors. In your planning session we’ll map out what you’ll bring and what we’ll supply, so nothing is doubled up or missing.

When do I drop off my party items?

The week before your party. We’ll set everything up for you.

Can I use decor from my own party designer?

Yes. Order your printed pieces from a designer you love, drop them off, and we’ll set them up. On-site outside vendors, like caterers or decorators who set up themselves, are reserved for Private Celebrations.

How early is the room ready?

Your party room is set up and ready 15 minutes before your party start time.

What if I don’t have a theme in mind?

Choose from our 34 party themes, all included in every package.
